Black Skin Approved Sunscreen: EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46
Hello, beautiful people! My name is Terrell Britten and I wanted to share another black skin-approved sunscreen that works for my deep skin tone. This week, I put the Elta MD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46+ ($39) to the test.
This sunscreen has a creamy, but lightweight formula that is oil-free and great for acne-prone skin, rosacea, or those with hyperpigmentation. It contains a healthy dose of niacinamide to help balance oil production and reduce discoloration. It’s also dye-free, fragrance-free, oil-free, paraben-free and alcohol-free.
This sunscreen melted right into my skin and left it feeling balanced and not heavy or greasy after application. Even though it’s oil-free, my skin felt hydrated and moisturized. AND I wasn’t left with a white, grey, or purple cast on my skin after I applied and let it settle for about 10 minutes.
I’m happy to say this sunscreen has found a new home in my sunscreen collection. Have you tried this sunscreen? Tell me in the comments and let me know what you think.
