If your 2017 resolutions involve kicking your procrastination habit, why not start early and lock down your New Year's Eve makeup now? To help you nail your beauty look, we've tapped our friend and celebrity makeup artist Nikki La Rose to show us how to create the shimmering green look above. Check out the video below to see how it's done, then read on for the full list of steps.
Foundation
Apply Clarins True Radiance Foundation with a Beautyblender.
Eyes
We're using MAC Cosmetics to create the entire look. Apply Paint Pot in Soft Ochre as an eyeshadow base, then highlight the brow bone with Pigment in Vanilla. Contour the crease with eyeshadow in Wedge. Blend Pearlglide Liner in limited-edition Black Line (or substitute with Black Swan) all over the eyelid and blend with a brush to create a base.
Apply eyeshadow in Sumptuous Olive on top of the eyeliner and into the crease. Blend eyeshadow in Coquette into the outer corner and crease. Apply eyeshadow in Nylon to tear duct. Apply the same eyeliner to the bottom lash and water line, blend, and top with Sumptuous Olive.
Then, mix Supernail glitter in Mother Nature with a glitter mixing adhesive and apply with pencil brush to outer corner of top and bottom lash line.
Apply L'Oréal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes.
Apply individual lashes to the outer corners.
Apply concealer under the eyes and wherever else it’s needed.
Contouring
Apply your desired contour to your nose, cheekbones, and other facial features. Nead
Cheeks
Apply MAC Cosmetics blush in Warm Soul to the apples of the cheeks.
Lips
Almost done! Finally, line the lips with Sorme Cosmetics Lip Liner in Nectar and top with Dose of Colors Lipstick in Nude and MAC Lip Glass in Myth.
