GlamGlow Mud Cleansers: The First Products You Should Try in 2015

When you receive an invite to “GlamLand”, you don’t ask questions. You just go. Especially when you get to sip champagne, play ping-pong and learn about new products with the fun teams behind Ipsy and GlamGlow.

On this particular evening, the star of the night was the latest launch from GlamGlow: face cleansers. Yes, you heard right. But these aren’t just any cleansers, the latest innovation from GlamGlow magically transforms from mud to foam. We know it sounds impossible, so let my vine video below illustrate it for you.

Pretty cool, huh? To clarify, that was an example used to prove that mud (the base of GlamGlow masks) can transform to foam. But don’t worry, that’s not going to happen when you try to use the cleanser, it’s just an exaggeration of the science behind it.

The first one, SuperCleanse, launched exclusively at Sephora for $39 this month and three more will follow soon afterwards. Each cleanser corresponds to a different mud mask from the collection that fits your needs. There’s PowerCleanse for everyday use, YouthCleanse for your anti-aging needs and ThirstyCleanse for those with dry skin.

And since we couldn't contain our excitement to try the new products, we piled into a washroom at GlamLand with the Ipsy girls, and put all four cleansers to the test. Each one removes makeup and makes your skin feel silky smooth. I'm most excited for the launch of the PowerCleanse version which comes with dual pumps. One side contains a nourishing mud base, and the other contains a detoxifying oil blend. You can use each on their own or use them together, depending on the type of cleanse you desire. I just like to have the option, so for me, it's perfect.
