Viral TikTok Brow Products To Try from Soap Brows to Hair Gel
Lockdown changed everything in seconds. That party you were looking forward to? Postponed. Your quarterly hair appointment? Cancelled. All parts of our lives had to adapt to the “new normal” including our beauty routines. Many of us started to wear less makeup (if any at all) and embrace a more natural, low-maintenance look. One of my favorite beauty trends to come out of the lockdown era is the switch from super polished brows to bushier, au natural brows.
Here’s how my old brow routine would go: First, I would use a tinted brow gel to sculpt my brows into my desired shape and add some volume to the hairs. Then I would sketch out the shape I wanted using a micro-brow pencil and fill in any sparse areas. If I wanted an even more dramatic look I would go over them in with a brow powder. This entire process took about 15 minutes, and that’s just my brows!
My current routine is much simpler: I use the soap brow technique to sculpt and fill in any sparse areas with a brow pencil. Thanks to all my quarantine brow growth, my eyebrows are much fuller than they were last year, so I don’t need to fill them in too much. This process takes very minimal time and effort and, in my opinion, my brows look better than ever.
If you’re ready to embrace your natural brows, here are three viral TikTok brow products to help you shape, lift, and style your brows.
Soap Brows
Makeup industry veterans and drag queens know that the soap brow technique has been around for decades, but it was recently brought to the masses thanks to TikTok. Soap brows are exactly what they sound like, in lieu of a brow gel or wax, you use a bar of soap. Makeup artists love this hack because of its durability, simplicity, and affordability.
All you have to do is spray the bar of soap with water or setting spray to create a paste, and use a spoolie to brush your brows in the direction you want them to go. It sounds a little strange, but this hack actually works and will keep your brows in place all day long. The most popular soap is the Pears Transparent Soap ($5), but any glycerin-based soap will do the job!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze ($23)
It was almost impossible to get your hands on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze ($23) when it first launched in January. Makeup artists and influencers sang the praises of this brow styling wax that promises to lift, sculpt, and tame even the most unruly brows. It basically gives you that brow lamination look without a trip to the salon. Unlike similar products on the market, you don’t need water to activate this wax. It’s easy to use, mess-free and will keep your brows in place all day long.
To achieve the feathered brow look with this product, pick up a small amount of product on a spoolie and brush your brows upward into your desired shape. To add extra definition you can fill in sparse areas with a brow pencil or powder. Heads up, a little goes a long way with this product!

Got2B Glued Brows
Want fluffy brows that will last all day and night? Look no further than the Got2B Spiked Gel ($4). Everyone immediately ran out to buy this heavy-duty hair gel after it was featured in supermodel Ashely Graham’s Vogue beauty secrets video.
It couldn’t be easier to use, apply a tiny amount to a clean spoolie, and brush your brows into your desired shape. If you want the laminated look, use the wand of your spoolie to press down and flatten the hairs. A little goes a long way with this stuff, so the tube will last you forever.
