Angelina Jolie Won't Make Money On This Major Beauty Role
Angelina Jolie may earn millions to star on the silver screen, but she'll be taking home zilch for her next major role. The philanthropic megastar will be the face of Guerlain's newest fragrance, as the iconic French beauty brand revealed on Instagram.
Jolie will be the face of Mon Guerlain, a perfume inspired by "modern femininity [and] notes of a woman" that's set to land on shelves this March.
But here's the catch, she won't be depositing her paycheck from the Parisian company — People reports that the actress and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador is donating all of her earnings to charity.
Guerlain was founded in France in 1828, making it among the oldest perfume and cosmetics companies in the world. Given that Jolie owns a French chateau, it's no surprise that the A-lister has joined forces with the Paris-based luxury house. In addition, the superstar's fondness for Guerlain stems from her mother: in a press release, Jolie's mother Marcheline Bertrand had used the brand's powders.
