The Best Hair Texture Sprays to Try Now
Hair with lots of texture has been the go-to look among celebrities and other influencers for a while now and it doesn't seem like that's going to change anytime soon. But despite it's "I woke up like this" appearance, getting the look right requires some work and the right products. That's why we rounded up the best texture sprays that'll help you get the textured hair of your dreams.
L'Oreal Tecniart Next Day Hair ($26)
Everyone at our office is obsessed with this new product from L'Oreal. We first came across it when we were at the Ramirez Tran salon and celebrity hairstylist Anh Co Tran pointed it out as his new favorite product. It helps created that slightly disheveled look without making your hair look too greasy or ratty. The best way to use it is to curl your hair with a wide barrel curling iron, spray the product into your roots, and then use your fingers to break up the curls. The key ingredients are calcium carbonate, a mineral salt that texturizes, and non-ionic polymers that give your hair some hold.
Shu Uemura Texture Wave Dry Texturing Spray ($39)
This product has quite the fan club, especially among those who truly don't want to do much to their hair. You just need a few spritzes throughout your hair to get the prefect amount of texture. It contains mineral powders that give your hair texture, but it also has a mattifying effect so it doesn't look greasy.
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($44)
Ask pretty much any hairstylist what texture spray they recommend, and this is likely the one they'll say. It's great if you want textured hair that has tons of volume. It also kind of works like a dry shampoo because it absorbs oil at the roots so your hairstyle will last a lot longer. On top of that, it contains antioxidants and other ingredients so it nourishes your hair as it gives it sultry texture.
