New Los Angeles Yoga Studios You Have to Check Out

Yoga isn't for everyone. Fans of it love the mind body connection they get, but opponents feel bored by the usually slow pace. Well, we challenge those of the latter mindset to try out one of these new Los Angeles yoga studios below because they might just convert you into a yoga lover.

Playlist Yoga (West Hollywood, CA)

We can all agree that music makes a HUGE difference when you work out. The right song can help you forget you're working out and can allow you to really get into it. That's the idea behind the newly opened Playlist Yoga. They play new hits and popular songs that are curated by the instructor and their resident DJ. It's a 60-minute class that's taught in the dark with just a little mood lighting (similar to Soul Cycle) and all the moves are choreography to the song that's playing.

Love Yoga (Venice, CA)

When you take the owner of Montawk's hottest summer yoga spot and a celebrity yoga instructor who's worked with the Olsen twins, you know the results will be good. Sian Gordon and Kyle Miller just brought Love Yoga to the best coast (ahem, west coast). You walk in to a well-lit studio with a dreamy turquoise blue floor and psychedelic wall art created by All For the Mountain. There's just a very serene vibe to the place and the music is curated for the time and level of each class. What we notice most is this studio includes poses you don't typically do in a yoga class. That means it never gets boring!

Y7 Studio (West Hollywood, CA)

If you really want to break a sweat, then Y7 might be your best bet. It's a candle-lit hot yoga class that's choreographed to the beat of hip-hop music, so expect to hear some Drake and The Weeknd. After having three successful studios around NYC, Y7 finally made it's way to LA starting with a pop-up shop in the brand new Rebecca Minkoff store before opening a permanent location on Melrose Ave. There are two types of classes: WeFlowHard vinyasa for those who want a challenge and Slow Burn for those who want a slower pace.
