Need an Eye Makeup Primer? Try Benefit Air Patrol
Eyelid primer is a must for me. Without it, my eye makeup smudges, transfers, and just looks like a hot mess at the end of the day. I also can't live without sunscreen. So it was a happy day when I found out that two of my must-have products are now one in Benefit Air Patrol ($29).
It's an eyelid primer that gives your eye makeup some serious staying power--91 percent of women who tried it said it made their eye makeup last longer. On top of that, it contains SPF 20, so it also protects your eyelids from sun damage. Trust, your eyelids need all the help it can get because it's the most delicate skin on your face.
An added bonus is that it's also a BB cream, so it also treats your skin. It calms, soothes, and relieves dryness. Not only will your makeup look good, but your skin will look better the most you use it.
To use, you just twist the bottom once to get a tiny amount of product on the tip and then apply it to your eyelid. The tip is a "CushionCalm" tip that's very soft and squishy, so it wont pull on your skin. After I apply it with the tip, I use my ring finger to blend it in completely. Once it's set, you can apply your eye makeup on top of it.
I've been using it for about a week now and my eye makeup lasts the whole day, even in this ridiculous heat that Los Angeles has had this summer. It's safe to say that this product now has a permanent spot in my makeup bag.
