MAC Giambattista Valli Lipstick Collection Review

Following Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, MAC Cosmetics launched a collection with Italian designer Giambattista Valli. There are five gorgeous matte lipstick shades in the MAC Giambattista Valli collection and each shade is inspired by colors found in dresses from the designer's previous collections.

There's a pale white pink shade called "Bianca B", a bright hot pink shade called "Tats", a dark cherry shade with blue undertones called "Eugenie", a bright yellow peach shade called "Margherita", and a rich yellow red shade called "Charlotte". The lipsticks ($17.50 each) also have color-coordinated packaging, which is extremely convenient and leaves no question of what color you're picking out.

The lipsticks go on smoothly and are highly pigmented, so you'll definitely make a statement with your lips. And because they're matte, they're also long-lasting. However, if you're not a fan of matte lipsticks, the collection also has a Crystal Glaze Gloss ($23) that you can use to give your lips some shine.
