4 Blue Eyeliners to Try This Summer
Blue eyeliner is my favorite way to add a subtle pop of color to my makeup look. Especially in the summer. It's like a little surprise every time you blink. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend you do. Just swap out your regular black eyeliner for one of these blue options:
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Cobalt ($20)
What I love about this eyeliner is that there are so many different shades to choose from, but for our purpose here, the Indigo shade is gorgeous. They also have a periwinkle blue! It's waterproof, so that makes it a perfect makeup choice for hot summer days. It also goes on smoothly and the thin marker tip makes it easy to make a precise line.
Wet n Wild Megaliner Liquid Eyeliner in Indigo Blue ($2.99)
This liner is actually one of the first liquid eyeliners I ever used and it's still a favorite today. The pretty blue color glides on smoothly and the firm, felt tip makes it easy to draw the line to your liking. Let it dry for a few seconds before you open your eyes to make sure it doesn't transfer or smudge. Plus, the price point is great in case you're not sure if you want to invest in a more expensive eyeliner.
Benefit They're Real! Push-Up Eyeliner in Beyond Blue ($24)
I was already a fan of the original black version of this liner, so I was super excited when they recently added four more colors, including a gorgeous blue shade. What makes this liner unique is that is has an "AccuFlex" tip that lets you get super close to the lash line. The shape of the tip also makes it easy to create a winged eyeliner look. It's extremely water-proof and will stay put--they even have a specific eye makeup remover for it! But really any eye makeup remover or oil-based cleanser will get the job done too.
Cynthia Rowley Beauty Liquid Eyeliner in Cobalt ($18)
I didn't know what to expect with this eyeliner (Cynthia Rowley is more of a fashion brand after all), but it's now one of my all-time favorites. It stays on all day and doesn't smudge or transfer--even after a 12-hour day! It has a marker-like tip that makes it easy to apply and the color is also very opaque. After it's dry, I like to top it with a translucent powder to give it extra staying power. Here's what it looks like on:
